 Michael's latest CD/DVD "Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden", continued to top Billboard's Top Jazz Albums Chart two weeks after its release. Michael donates to the Abruzzo appeal
Michael Bublé has donated $50,000 to help those affected by the earthquake that shook the central Italian region of Abruzzo in April. He said, "As a proud Canadian and Italian citizen, and as an artist who has received tremendous support from a wonderful country, for me it is an honour to show my appreciation and give back support to a country that has given me so much."
It's the second time this year that Michael has made such a generous gesture, following a similar donation to the victims of the Victorian bushfires in Australia in February.  Bungalow-B member, Jennifer Robinson who last year organised a birthday project, for Michael's fans around the world to contribute in order to aid one of his favourite charities, B.C Children's Hospital is conducting a new project this year.Jennifer is spearheading another donation drive for Michael's fans to assist BCCH. Jennifer and a friend will be visiting and touring the hospital on July 22nd and the hospital has provided her with a listing of much needed items. Jennifer told The Daily Bublé, "we are very excited by this and have been given a list of items the kids need". "It would be impossible to transport all the toys to Vancouver, so we are taking donations and will buy the items while in Vancouver and take them to the kids while we are there for the tour".
